I hope the person who told you this wasn't a male, and if he was I sure hope you didn't sleep with him. It doesn't have anything to do with genetic make up of men. Yes, men are generally hornier than women, therefore they might want to have sex more frequently than women would, but this doesn't mean their genetics require different sex partners. Otherwise, it's more of a ';hey I'm a guy and I want to be cool in front of my friends, so I'm going to try my best to sleep around with as many girls as I can!!'; and a pride-issue matter. Just because the person threw in fancy words like ';genetically coded'; doesn't make them an expert. My guess? It was probably a guy who told you this, who probably uses that as an excuse to be a man-whore. Don't believe it.Someone told me ';men are genetically coded to want sex with as many women as possible'; true or false?

Women want sex as much as men do. However, in order to ensure that a man was not raising a child who was not his own offspring, society made sex for women shameful. Bottom line: if you want to control the baby-makers, make sex shameful.
Think about the history of women. It has only been the last 100 years or so that women were allowed to own property, to vote, and to work at a profession other than prostitution. Essentially, their sexuality defined their role in society. Women could be: 1) old maids 2) mothers 3) prostitutes, or 4) nuns/holy persons. Women who were defined as sexual objects often had the least respect in society, because there is no dignity in being a sexual object; hence, the lower status and repressed sexuality of ';good'; women.
I don't know about as many as possible, but I do think we naturally desire the thrill of a variety of women moreso than most women enjoy a variety. I have a female friend who has been with TONS of dudes. But even she seems to not care or desire hooking up with other dude when she is in a relationship with a guy she really likes. But I have never had a male friend who didn't want to hook it up with other girls. Even if they were happy in the relationship. I'm not saying they all did, I am just saying they all really wanted to and were tempted by it.
This question accually depends on the guy themself. Some guys don't want to have sex with as many girls as possible and only want it with the girl of their dreams or whom they want to marry. Some guys on the other hand want to have sex with as many girls as they can and will try to play alot of girls. So you see it all just depends on the guy and not men as a whole.

Of course when this started being standard for our society, a teenager was middle aged and people didn't expect to live much longer than 35.
The more offspring a male brings into the world, the more likely it is that his genes will be passed on to future generations ( all other factors being equal). Females are more successful at raising their offspring with a steady supply of resources and security of bonding with a single male. This is why there is the fundamental difference in the view of monogamy between men and women.
It's true. From an evolutionary stand point men would try to spread their seed as many times as possible to make it more likely that they will have children to carry on their name. Women on the other hand, from an evolutionary stand point of course, would try to conserve their eggs since their eggs are limited to a certain degree.
ima a guy and i say false (for me), despite the fact that im 16 going to 17 im still a virgin and i have no desire to lost my virginity.
