I've heard professionals say both ways which is true? Once you treat it and results come back negative, are you more susseptible to get it again?True or false, does Lyme's Disease lie in wait to reoccur?
It really depends on how long you had the disease. Patients treated with antibiotics in the early stages of the infection usually recover rapidly and completely. A few patients, particularly those diagnosed with later stages of disease, may have persistent or recurrent symptoms for the rest of their life.
