The catholic church argued that religious truth and authority could only be found in the bible?True or False?

True or false please helpThe catholic church argued that religious truth and authority could only be found in the bible?True or False?
False. The bible states that any religious authority from the Catholic church can amend ';the almighty word of god'; (I guess it isn't so almighty after all). This is convenient when the Vatican decides that slavery is fantastic (during the 1400's) or that you can pay the church money to have all of your sins magically disappear. The catholic church argued that religious truth and authority could only be found in the bible?True or False?
The relieance on the authority of the Bible as the sole source of religious truth is a Protestant doctrine. The Church counts its traditions as equally valid as a guide to religious truth. The Pope is deemed infallible when he speaks ex cathedra, but he has done that only twice. Papal encyclicals are authoritative but not considered infallible.
they can be found in the torae (jewish bible) muslim bible, budhist bible if they have one. most religion's have some sort of bible and most contain the same rules and right's as the catholic bible.
False. The bible plus tradition.
