TN Chief Minister and his cohorts call for a Bandh – paralyzing all institutional and human activities. The Supreme Court intervenes and bans it. The C M outsmarts the Supreme Court and resorts to a mass hunger protest spread all over the State and the entire state is paralyzed and people do not dare to venture out. The Supreme Court asks the Central Government to consider dissolving the State Government on breakdown in law and order. Here the learned Priya Ranjan Das Munshi certifies that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister is a true follower of Gandhiji, the father of the Nation. Do you think so? More; (1) How about this suggestion of mine? Hunger strike for a single day should be banned and it should be enforced till the objective is achieved and none should intervene in it to stop it so that one can sacrifice his very life for a since cause. and I';ll scratch yours';.Certifications fly all over


when the society functions which is almost all the time except for breaks when there is a natural calamity.Of course,at those times


members will be having joyrides, surveying the disaster areas at the tax-payer's cost and


promising relief to all and sundry of amounts which always includes special cuts and commissions to special people.


Depending on what the SC is going to decide on the AIADMK's petition on the issue,I too have a suggestion which in my view is more practical.Should any party or leader wish to foist a bandh on the hapless masses,an


application in a prescribed form should be made to the SC which will only have the power to decide on the number of days of the bandh.It


should be applicable for the whole country and not merely for the state or a city/town/village.


Attendant actions or non-actions should be spelt out for every citizen to follow.

The Tamil Nadu chief had called for total Bandh for the benefit of of the State's future not for his personal benefits as the BJP and AIADMK had done and doing.In respect of the supreme court order he had changed the Bandh to symbolic Hunger strike do the people of Tamil Nadu had stand for their rights.which had done in way of the father of Nation Gandhiji.Can any one point out what the BJP or AIADMK done in benefit of Tamil Nadu.These against the SETHU plan are only trying to get political benefit.SETHU is a future development of the Tamil Nadu.So the Honourable Chief minister had done a perfect job whit out any LAW and ORDER problem by the way of Nation's Father.
Non-violence and Truth are the two basic important characters / qualities of Mahatma Gandhi and “Raghupathi raghava rajaRam …pathitha pavana seethaRam” and “Hey Ram”are Gandhiji’s non controversial favourite slogans! Hence let the “True follower of Gandhiji” be made to fit into at least all the above four qualities now!?

With reference to Kalaignar's giving up of Bandh and making resort to fast,he said that TN CM is following the Gandhiji's way.


But his friends and admirers forced him to give it up on the grounds of his age and health! So he went to the Secretariat and attended his work.


Your patholgical aversion to 'fasting' has forced you to suggest a ';desperate remedy';, which many may not appreciate!


More often than not, people ' miss the wood for the trees!' Rarely one points out the finger unerringly at the ';central point.';

Advaniji, was the Deputy PM then.He did not raise the present argument then, because DMK was in the NDA and Kalaignar's help was essential!

1. They are on different turfs and hence TN CM could be the best target!


2. Advaniji's Presidentship of BJP was taken away because of his unguarded candour as regards Jinnah in Karachi and was almost sent into oblivion!


3. Most importantly elections to some prestigious state assemblies is due shortly.


4. So Advaniji is once again dragging the name of Lord Ram to ensure his success.


5. Sangh parivar people and admirers of Advani may have rosy dreams but the electorate have found the chink in Advaniji's armour and they could not be taken on a ride by him now or ever!


The people of Tamilnadu have great respect for Lord Ram and they are also hopeful that their Lord would help His real bakthas get what they have been yearning for such along time, rather than help a political oppoprtunist!
I do not see any difference between Karunanidhi and Das munshi. For power they would trade any thing. I have chosen explicits reserved for both of them, but discipline of this forum prevents me from making them public.
