True or false- comparison to past experiences is one of the primary ways we perceive information?

Not like we have much of a choice in the matter, most of the time, but the answer is obviously true. Case in point, you only have to place your hand on a hot burner, in order to find out that the stove is hot, one time. After that, you just kind of take it for granted.True or false- comparison to past experiences is one of the primary ways we perceive information?
True. One of the best ways we grasp information is by comparison to an already-known model. Take high-school biology: the phrase ';A cell works like a city'; will have different meanings to an American high school student compared to a Kenyan one.
it sounds true to me
